About the role
To provide strategic leadership for Environment, Health & Safety across the organization while driving operational excellence in manufacturing, project execution, quality systems, sustainability initiatives, and people development. The role is responsible for establishing a world-class safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, improving manufacturing efficiency, supporting business expansion projects, and developing future leadership capability.
What you'll do
- Process Safety: Own PSM, HAZOP/HAZID, LOPA, MOC, PSSR, mechanical integrity and major-accident prevention
- Audit & Assurance: Establish robust audit, compliance assurance, incident investigation and corrective-action systems
- Contractor & Supply Chain Safety: Govern contractor, logistics and third-party EHS performance
- Statutory & Regulatory Liaison: Maintain proactive relationships with local regulatory authorities, including Boiler Inspectors, GIDC safety offices
- Strong technical depth in environmental management systems, including ZLD, ETP and regulatory requirements
