About the role
As a Purchasing Manager you will be responsible for sourcing equipment, goods and services and managing vendors. The successful candidate will be able to perform strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spend, search for better deals and find more profitable suppliers. Also includes dispatching of goods to customers in India and abroad.
What you'll do
- Lead Procurement department in handling day-to-day operations
- Streamline Procurement activities and create a positive working environment, where employees feel valued, respected, and empowered to perform at their best
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve processes, policies, and procedures that align with business objectives
- Crafting negotiation strategies and closing deals with optimal terms
- Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power
