About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Commis I - Western to join our culinary team in Lucknow, India. As an entry-level position in our kitchen, the Commis I will assist in the preparation and cooking of Western cuisine dishes while learning and developing essential culinary skills. Learn and apply basic Western cooking techniques under the guidance of experienced chefs
What you'll do
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for Western dishes, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables and fruits
- Support senior chefs in cooking and plating Western cuisine menu items
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
- Assist in the proper storage and labeling of ingredients and prepared foods
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours
