About the role
Learn and apply basic Halwai techniques under the guidance of experienced chefs.
What you'll do
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for Indian sweets and desserts, including washing, peeling, chopping, and measuring ingredients
- Support senior Halwais in preparing traditional Indian sweets, desserts, and other confectionery items
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
- Assist in the proper storage and labelling of ingredients, semi-prepared items, and finished products
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours
