About the role
Check laundry bags and verify guest laundry lists for accuracy. Tag and record all garments accurately to avoid loss or mix-ups. Immediately report damaged, missing, or misplaced garments to the supervisor.
What you'll do
- Collect guest laundry, dry-cleaning, and pressing items from guest rooms as per hotel procedures
- Count, sort, and classify garments according to fabric type, colour, and washing requirements
- Ensure proper handling of guest garments to prevent damage, stains, or colour transfer
- Coordinate with the laundry team to ensure timely processing of guest laundry
- Assist in washing, drying, pressing, folding, and finishing garments as required
