About the role
To ensure Novotel is a secure environment by implementing security systems, policies, and procedures in accordance with hotel standards.
What you'll do
- Patrol assigned areas (guest floors, lobby, basement parking) during duty periods and report all untoward incidents, policy violations, fire/safety hazards
- Monitor and secure guest rooms and hotel property, including fixtures, equipment, and accessories, whilst providing assistance to guests as required
- Maintain vigilance in lobby and public areas; greet guests appropriately and monitor for undesirable visitors, banned elements, and persistent troublemakers
- Operate security control room as the nerve centre of the security department; respond to incidents, manage communications
- Conduct security checks at all entry points (main porch, staff entrance, service gates) using Door Frame Metal Detectors (DFMD), Hand Held Metal Detectors (HHMD)
