The Shift Engineer - Mechanical manages mechanical equipment, executes maintenance activities, responds to emergencies, ensures safety, collaborates with stakeholders, and drives continuous improvement for optimal equipment performance and reliability.
What you'll do
- Supervise mechanical systems and utilities during shifts, ensuring efficient operation and swift resolution of issues to maintain continuous production
- Monitor and control pumps, compressors, and conveyors for optimal performance. Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure equipment availability
- Develop and implement maintenance plans for equipment. Optimize schedules and spare parts to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan
- Follow safety protocols and conduct inspections. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
