About the role
Head - Production is responsible for leading the overall production function within the precast business unit. The role involves overseeing daily operations, managing production teams, ensuring product quality, maintaining safety compliance, optimizing costs, and aligning operations with strategic goals.
What you'll do
- Ensure optimal use of manpower, materials, and machinery to achieve productivity goals while maintaining tight cost control and budget adherence
- Oversee key design and structural concepts to communicate effectively with engineering teams and ensure precision in product output
- Implement and oversee safety protocols, identify operational risks, and proactively mitigate hazards to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel
- Drive initiatives to enhance production processes, adopt new industry practices, and leverage emerging technologies to improve output and reduce inefficiencies
- Oversee team wellbeing, promote health and hygiene standards at production sites, and ensure compliance with applicable labor and safety regulations
