About the role
Monitor, interpret, and analyse government policies, regulatory developments, and Regulatory matters affecting renewable energy projects (solar, wind, hybrid, etc.). Prepare and finalise petitions, replies, and rejoinders for regulatory authorities (State/Central Commissions, Tribunals, Courts). Represent the company before regulatory bodies, government agencies (e.g., MoP, MNRE, SECI, NTPC, State Utilities, Discoms), and industry associations.
What you'll do
- Monitor, interpret, and analyse government policies, regulatory developments, and Regulatory matters affecting renewable energy projects (solar, wind, hybrid, etc.)
- Prepare and finalise petitions, replies, and rejoinders for regulatory authorities (State/Central Commissions, Tribunals, Courts)
- Liaise with government departments for project clearances, permits, and statutory compliance (including PPA and local statutory requirements)
- Track and report on policy developments, case laws, and regulatory updates at both central and state levels
- Provide strategic support for business development, project management, and regulatory functions, including research and maintaining MIS for regulatory/litigation matters
