What you'll do
- Responsible for analyzing wind turbine operational data to identify areas for performance improvement
- Analyze operational data from wind turbines to assess performance against expected benchmarks, including power output, efficiency, and availability
- Use advanced data analytics software (e.g., MATLAB, Python, R) to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement in turbine performance
- Conduct performance optimization studies, focusing on areas such as blade aerodynamics, control system tuning, and power curve adjustments
- Assist in troubleshooting performance issues on-site, using diagnostic tools to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective measures
