About the role
The Section In-Charge is responsible for leading and overseeing all production activities within their section across three shifts, ensuring smooth operations, material availability, and adherence to the production plan. This role is pivotal in driving process optimization, improving equipment efficiency, and ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
What you'll do
- Monitor concentrate inventory across port, plant, yards, warehouses, and in-transit positions to ensure uninterrupted availability
- Coordinate with commercial and procurement teams for shipment visibility, arrival schedules, allocation plans, and supply continuity
- Track daily consumption, receipts, stock ageing, inventory coverage, and deviations against plan
- Support proactive risk mitigation for feed shortages, shipment delays, quality variations, demurrage exposure, and operational constraints
- Coordinate with operations, laboratory, quality, and process teams for concentrate grade, moisture, impurity levels, assay results, and blend suitability
