About the role
Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations, consents, and statutory requirements applicable to the cement plant. Monitor and control environmental parameters including air emissions, ambient air quality, water quality, noise levels, and fugitive dust emissions. Maintain and monitor environmental control systems such as ESPs, Bag Filters, STP, ETP, and dust suppression systems to ensure effective pollution control.
What you'll do
- Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations, consents, and statutory requirements applicable to the cement plant
- Monitor and control environmental parameters including air emissions, ambient air quality, water quality, noise levels, and fugitive dust emissions
- Maintain and monitor environmental control systems such as ESPs, Bag Filters, STP, ETP, and dust suppression systems to ensure effective pollution control
- Coordinate environmental monitoring, testing, data analysis, and submission of statutory reports to regulatory authorities
- Implement and sustain ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) and facilitate internal and external environmental audits
