About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Storage Administrator (m/f/d) to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in storage administration, particularly with Hitachi storage solutions, and will be responsible for managing and optimizing our storage infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
What you'll do
- Manage and maintain Hitachi storage solutions, including Virtual Storage Platform (VSP) Family, Brocade, and CISCO SAN
- Configure and manage storage protocols such as FC, iSCSI, NFS, and CIFS/SMB
- Utilize Hitachi Command Suite, Storage Navigator, and replication technologies (Global-Active Device, Shadow Image, True Copy) for storage management
- Optimize storage solutions offered by Hitachi Data Systems (HDS) and ensure efficient operations
- Administer Hitachi E-Series (E590, E790) and VSP 5600 Series storage systems
