About the role
This role is a senior technical leadership position within PMC engagements, responsible for overseeing the design, review, and execution of electrical systems across renewable energy (solar, wind, hybrid), conventional generation, hydro/PSP, BESS, substations, and transmission networks up to 765 kV.
What you'll do
- Provide technical direction for LV/MV/HV/EHV systems, including AC/DC systems, auxiliary systems, and electrical balance of plant
- Oversee design of electrical systems including cable sizing, transformer sizing, switchgear selection, bay configurations, and drive systems
- Lead development and review of AIS/GIS substations, switchyards, bay extensions, and transmission interfaces (OHL/UGC)
- Review and approve key basic and detailed engineering deliverables including: Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), schematics, layouts, GA drawings
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project scope and standards
