About the role
The Lead Engineer is responsible for leading the engineering and design of ELV systems throughout all project phases. The role includes technical leadership, multidisciplinary coordination, quality assurance, client interaction, and mentoring engineers to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
What you'll do
- Responsible for leading the engineering and design of ELV systems throughout all project phases
- Lead the design and engineering of ELV systems, including: Fire Detection & Alarm System (FAS)
- Building Management System (BMS)
- Develop design concepts, system architecture, basis of design reports, design calculations, and technical specifications
- Prepare equipment sizing, BOQs, cable schedules, IO schedules, network architecture, and technical documentation
