About the role
A wedding photographer shoots 4,000 photos on a Saturday. Before Aftershoot, that meant three nights hunched over a screen, clicking through near-identical frames, missing dinner, missing their kids, missing the life they take pictures of for everyone else. What you'll do
- Every engineer here builds a piece of the product. The PM holds the plan for it. Design holds the intent
- You're the only person on the team whose entire job is to know what the product actually does
- Six months in, when an engineer and a PM disagree about how a flow is supposed to behave, someone in that room should say "just ask [your name]" and that settles it
- Know this product better than the people who built it. That's not a stretch goal. That's the job
