Development Organiser (Social)

About the role

The Development Organizer (Social) will play a key role in mobilizing communities, strengthening local institutions, and facilitating participatory processes for sustainable development. The position requires field engagement with rural/tribal communities, promoting awareness, capacity building, and ensuring effective implementation of project interventions with a people-centered approach.

What you'll do

• Mobilize and organize community members into groups/associations/cooperatives for collective action
• Facilitate participatory rural appraisal (PRA), village planning, and need assessment exercises
• Build awareness on social issues such as gender equality, education, health, livelihoods, and rights
• Provide training, handholding support, and leadership development for community-based organizations
• Support in data collection, documentation of field activities, case stories, and success stories
