About the role
A vacancy for a Customs & Trade Compliance Manager has arisen within Airbus India. In this role, you will act as the strategic focal point for trade governance, customs compliance, and duty optimization in India. Operating within the Finance organization, you will establish robust compliance frameworks and oversee external Customs Brokers without performing manual operational entry filings.
What you'll do
- House Agents (CHAs) to ensure strict adherence to SLAs, accurate HSN classification, valuation, and rules of origin declarations
- Duty Optimization & Concessional Schemes: Direct the application and
- Governance of concessional duty regimes (e.g., IGCR and local manufacturing
- Schemes) to secure duty exemptions on imported components while ensuring strict end-use compliance
- Proceedings in coordination with Finance to ensure intercompany pricing structures fully meet customs requirements
