About the role
The Senior Manager - Safety will be responsible for leading and driving the Safety Management System at the Attibele Plot 26 facility. The role ensures compliance with statutory requirements, corporate EHS standards, and industry best practices while fostering a proactive safety culture across the site.
What you'll do
- Develop, implement, and monitor site-specific safety policies, procedures, and standards
- Ensure compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and corporate EHS requirements
- Liaise with government authorities, regulatory agencies, and auditors on safety-related matters
- Maintain all statutory records, permits, licenses, and safety documentation
- Lead Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) activities across all operations
