About the role
Monitor inventory requirements, purchase plans, lead times, and critical materials to prevent shortages or excess stock. Handle supplier issues related to quality rejection, shortages, delays, damages, and replacements and ensure timely resolution. Maintain updated vendor databases, quotations, comparative statements, POs, contracts, and procurement records.
What you'll do
- Monitor inventory requirements, purchase plans, lead times, and critical materials to prevent shortages or excess stock
- Handle supplier issues related to quality rejection, shortages, delays, damages, and replacements and ensure timely resolution
- Maintain updated vendor databases, quotations, comparative statements, POs, contracts, and procurement records
- Track purchase costs, savings, price trends, and vendor performance and prepare MIS/procurement reports for management
- Ensure procurement activities comply with budgets, company policies, quality standards, and commercial requirements
