Senior Data Analyst

About the role

We are looking for ambitious and curious people who can help us understand our data better, contribute to facilitating the discussions between engineering and the data stakeholders and have an impact on the business by telling stories around the insights they generate. You will be an integral part of the newly formed business intelligence team, paying a hands-on role, building and developing the analytics and insights capabilities of the Bank.

What you'll do

• Build and optimise solutions on GCP (BigQuery) and in Python, automating manual processes and choosing the best way to implement each solution
• Generate your own work by joining wider business meetings, building business understanding and spotting where data can add value
• Work with Data Engineering/Product to resolve data quality and lineage issues and maintain data standards and documentation
• Influence stakeholders with clear insight and share knowledge within and outside the team. Constructively challenge proposed approaches and suggest better alternatives
