About the role
Transportation Controllership is a global finance team responsible for Financial Reporting activities, establishing Financial Control Frameworks and Advanced Analytics in the transportation space, including import, domestic inbound, warehouse transfer, and outbound shipments. Along with our partners in Accounting, we are responsible for the contractual and managerial closing of the books for Transportation spend.
What you'll do
- A typical day in this role provides an opportunity to resolve ambiguous problems, build analytical dashboards and reports, own month end close deliverables
- Learn to produce insightful financial reporting, build robust and repeatable financial processes, controls, and perform in-depth analysis on transportation spend numbers
- Learn to venture into unknown territory, and learn how to succeed in a new space
- Anticipate and resolve bottlenecks while balancing business needs and escalating where appropriate
- Responsible for the contractual and managerial closing of the books for Transportation spend
