About the role
We are seeking an experienced Embedded Firmware Engineer to join our engineering team in Bangalore. In this Software Engineer role, you will contribute across the aerospace software development lifecycle, including requirements-based design, implementation, verification, and certification support in accordance with DO-178B/C and applicable project standards.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, debug, troubleshoot, and maintain embedded application software, device drivers, and operating system firmware using C and/or C++
- Develop scalable, portable, and efficient software architectures and detailed designs that satisfy defined requirements
- Collaborate with hardware and systems engineers to understand system requirements and review schematics, datasheets, and interface specifications
- Perform requirements-based high-level and low-level software verification to demonstrate that the implemented software satisfies its corresponding requirements
- Create and review lifecycle data, including requirements, design documentation, source code, tests in accordance project standards
