About the role
In this role, the Senior Component Engineer - Corporate will support corporate component engineering initiatives across multiple business units by addressing current supply constraints, identifying component risks, supporting alternate part recommendations, and contributing to proactive risk mitigation initiatives.
What you'll do
- Support business units in resolving immediate component shortages and critical supply issues
- Work with BU, sourcing, procurement, EMS providers, distributors, and brokers to identify alternate sources and supply options
- Review distributor availability, broker options, lead times, and market conditions to support supply continuity
- Provide component-level analysis and recommendations to BU Engineering and sourcing teams
- Risk Management and Product Reviews
