About the role
In this role, you will design test frameworks from the ground up, automate across UI, API, and service layers, and integrate quality gates into CI/CD pipelines. You will champion a shift-left culture where defects are caught early and quality is everyone's responsibility. Build and maintain E2E test suites for web applications using Playwright or Cypress, including cross-browser and visual regression testing.
What you'll do
- Design test frameworks from the ground up, automate across UI, API, and service layers, and integrate quality gates into CI/CD pipelines
- Champion a shift-left culture where defects are caught early and quality is everyone's responsibility
- Build and maintain E2E test suites for web applications using Playwright or Cypress, including cross-browser and visual regression testing
- Automate testing of RESTful APIs and gRPC services, including contract testing between microservices and validation of event-driven architectures
- Design modular, scalable test automation frameworks from scratch, using data-driven and keyword-driven test design patterns
