About the role
To provide appropriate nutritional care to patients by assessing their dietary requirements, planning individualized diets, monitoring nutritional status, and educating patients and their families on healthy eating habits to support recovery and overall well-being.
What you'll do
- Assess patients' nutritional status, medical history, dietary habits, and nutritional requirements
- Prepare individualized diet plans based on the patient's medical condition, nutritional needs, and doctor's advice
- Provide therapeutic diets for patients with diabetes, hypertension, kidney disorders, cardiac conditions, gastrointestinal disorders, and other medical conditions
- Conduct regular nutritional assessments and monitor patients' progress
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure appropriate nutritional care
