About the role
The Senior Lab Technician is responsible for performing, supervising, and coordinating routine and specialized laboratory investigations to ensure accurate and timely diagnostic results. The role involves handling advanced laboratory equipment, maintaining quality standards, and supporting pathologists and laboratory physicians in delivering high-quality patient care.
What you'll do
- Perform biochemical, hematological, microbiological, serological, and clinical pathology tests as per standard operating procedures
- Ensure proper collection, labeling, processing, and storage of specimens
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and analyzers
- Monitor internal and external quality control programs and maintain documentation
- Verify test results and report abnormalities to the concerned laboratory consultant
