Associate Director – AEM Technical Lead

About the role

This role combines deep technical execution with team leadership. The individual will define backend standards, govern repository structure and security, lead performance optimization initiatives, and mentor developers while remaining actively involved in solution design and complex implementation.

What you'll do

• Drive adoption of AI-assisted engineering tools (e.g., Cursor, AI code assistants JetBrains, Claude Code) to improve developer productivity, code quality
• Evaluate and integrate emerging Adobe initiatives, including AI-powered capabilities and agent-based workflows within AEM and Adobe Experience Cloud
• Stay current with Adobe’s roadmap around generative AI, intelligent content automation, and agent-driven orchestration
• Enable the team through training and knowledge-sharing sessions on AI-driven development practices
• Lead a team of AEM backend developers
