What you'll do
- Design and develop structural assemblies, vacuum and thermal control systems, precision mechanisms, welded fabrications, and sheet metal components
- Apply DFx principles to improve manufacturability, assembly efficiency, and product cost
- Good hands-on experience on GD& T and tolerance stack up analysis
- Perform structural, thermal, vibration, seismic and first-order engineering hand calculations and analyses to validate designs
- Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, failure investigations, and corrective action implementation
