Lead Assessor (ISO 26262-2018/ISO 21448:2022/ISO 8800 (PAS) at APTIV. Perform Functional Safety assessments, audits, and compliance reviews across automotive development projects.
What you'll do
- Perform Functional Safety assessments, audits, and compliance reviews across automotive development projects
- Conduct independent confirmation reviews of safety work products, verifying compliance with ISO 26262 , ISO 21448 (SOTIF) , and emerging automotive safety frameworks
- Partner with customers, engineering teams, and stakeholders during internal and external safety assessments , audits, and technical reviews
- Drive the identification, tracking, and closure of assessment findings , ensuring timely resolution and continuous compliance
- Provide expert guidance to project teams on Functional Safety, SOTIF, AI Safety (ISO 8800), and safety lifecycle implementation
