You'll mentor junior developers, drive architectural decisions, and work closely with front-end engineers, security teams, and DevOps to create robust and efficient systems.
What you'll do
- Architect, develop and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services
- Design and implement RESTful APIs, GraphQL endpoints, and micro-services to support frontend applications
- Optimise system performance, security, and reliability for large-scale cloud applications
- Collaborate with front-end developers, security teams, and DevOps engineers to drive backend innovation
- Work with databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval
