Senior Software Engineer

About the role

You will develop automated tests and investigate system-level issues across hardware, firmware and software, contributing to reliable platform bring-up, performance and long-duration stability. This role offers the opportunity to work across processor, memory, I/O, networking, storage, power and thermal technologies, collaborating with engineering teams to turn challenging failures into clear, actionable findings.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain functional, performance, stress and stability tests for Linux server and SoC platforms
• Create test automation, log-analysis tools and regression coverage using C/C++, Python and shell scripting
• Validate and debug interactions across firmware, Linux kernel and device drivers, system management, networking, storage and hardware bring-up
• Investigate failures found during system-level workloads and long-duration testing; gather evidence
• Exercise platform reliability, availability and serviceability features, telemetry, power and thermal behaviour, and reset and boot flows
