About the role
We're looking for a Data Solution Architect to lead the data platform for a global payments/SaaS client. You'll own architecture across SQL Server, Snowflake, Power BI and Power Platform, act as the client's technical advisor, and guide the delivery team.
What you'll do
- Design and evolve a cloud data warehouse on Snowflake with dbt: layered modelling, history/snapshot strategy and ingestion from operational databases
- Lead technical discovery: scope validation, impact analysis, data profiling and solution design
- Set engineering standards for ETL, stored procedures, migrations and multi-environment promotion
- Architect reporting solutions in Power BI (paginated reports and dashboards), including automated report testing
- Define CI/CD and ALM for data, reporting and Power Platform workloads
