About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior API Developer to design, build, and optimize high-performance microservices and APIs that support an enterprise platform. In this role, you will own the full-service lifecycle, from contract-first API design through production deployment and observability, while working within an AWS-native ecosystem and supporting API consumer experience through MuleSoft.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and maintain production-grade GraphQL, RESTful, and event-driven APIs using Go
- Apply clean architecture, domain-driven design, and twelve-factor principles in service development
- Decompose monolithic capabilities into well-bounded microservices with clearly defined API contracts using OpenAPI 3.x and AsyncAPI
- Implement resilience patterns such as circuit breakers, retries with exponential back-off, bulkheads, timeouts
- Build idiomatic Go code with comprehensive unit, integration, and contract tests
