Assistant Manager - Home Improvement

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic procurement professional to lead sourcing and category management for furniture and modular kitchen hardware. The role will be responsible for driving cost competitiveness, supplier development, product innovation, and uninterrupted material availability while supporting business growth and profitability.

What you'll do

• Manage procurement of hardware categories including hinges, channels, drawer systems, lift-up systems, sliding mechanisms, baskets, handles, wardrobe accessories, locks
• Develop and execute category sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, delivery, and innovation
• Lead commercial negotiations, annual rate contracts, and cost reduction initiatives
• Identify, evaluate, and develop domestic and international suppliers
• Drive vendor consolidation, alternate sourcing, localization, and value engineering projects
