About the role
You will be responsible to take care of technical aspects of Energy Management System(EMS) & Generation Management System(GMS) products in projects delivered using AspenTech - OSI’s monarch platform for customers across different geographies. You are expected to possess knowledge of power systems analysis, electric utility operations, control, and optimization.
What you'll do
- Work directly with customers to define requirements for advanced control systems
- Understand project requirements through interactions with project engineering and other stakeholders, and design solutions to meet these requirements
- Carry out power system modelling, Analysis, and electrical design aspects of projects from the feasibility stage through implementation and operations
- Design and develop custom applications to meet project requirements
- Design the theoretical algorithms and their software implementation
