About the role
As a Software Renewal Specialist on our Renewal Operations Team, you will be responsible for the software license contract renewals for AspenTech's worldwide customers. You will drive and execute the process from quote creation and commercials, to contract signature and purchase order receipt, and then order entry for invoicing.
What you'll do
- Research software license agreements and renewal history to identify and understand upcoming license contract renewals
- Create license contract renewal quotes and work with the Sales Account Managers and Commercial team to improve deal metrics and outcomes
- Follow-up with Sales Account Managers and/or customers to ensure acceptance of the quotes, contract signatures
- Work closely with customers to address their concerns and questions while using the escalation and approval chain to obtain needed help and approvals for any changes
- Document all external and internal communications as well as action plans for each pending license renewal in the Salesforce CRM system
