About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Software Development, with a focus on software installation and deployment technologies, to lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of installation and deployment solutions for our software products across Windows, Linux, and containerized environments.
What you'll do
- Lead the architecture, development, optimization, and maintenance of installation and deployment solutions across Windows, Linux, and container-based platforms
- Lead, manage, and develop a team of software engineers, providing technical direction, coaching, performance management, and career development
- Establish and drive best practices for the use of Windows Installer, InstallShield, and other installation and deployment technologies
- Guide the development and maintenance of installation tools, automation, and scripts using C#, C++, PowerShell, Bash, and other appropriate technologies
- Drive the effective adoption of AI-assisted development tools and practices to improve developer productivity, code quality, testing, troubleshooting, documentation
