About the role
The Head of Engineering will lead the detailed design function for water infrastructure projects, ensuring high-quality technical delivery, client satisfaction, and financial performance. This role combines engineering leadership with commercial oversight, including responsibility for project P&L, invoicing, and client interaction.
What you'll do
- Lead and oversee detailed engineering design activities for water and wastewater projects
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications
- Manage project P&L, drive profitability, and support budget planning and control
- Oversee project invoicing cycles and ensure accurate and timely billing
- Act as primary engineering contact for key clients; maintain strong working relationships
