About the role
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for: Demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of complete electrical system design, including load calculations, cable sizing, voltage drop calculations, lighting design, and small power design
What you'll do
- Preparing detailed electrical designs in compliance with relevant British Standards and building regulations
- Conducting lighting protection and earthing system design to ensure safety and compliance
- Managing and coordinating with CAD designers and BIM modellers to develop accurate electrical models and documentation
- Performing site inspections and liaising with contractors to ensure designs are implemented correctly
- Preparing technical specifications, drawings, and comprehensive project documentation
