About the role
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with strong expertise in General Arrangement (GA) development, piping design, and routing for water and wastewater treatment facilities. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end engineering design, ensuring optimal layout, constructability, and compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
What you'll do
- Design and review of mechanical equipment at pump stations / Treatment plants and other facilities of Water/sewage treatment plants process and non-process
- Preparation of technical specification, review of vendor data sheet, QAP for mechanical and process equipment, Valves, Gates, cranes
- Preparation of mechanical GAD for pumping stations, WTP and STP equipment including lifting arrangements
- Cost estimation for mechanical works
- Inter plant Pipe design, Cross country pipe line design, pipe network, stress analysis, Pipe weld and test requirement, Preparation of pipe and equipment 3D drawings
