About the role
Draughtsman (Stage Propulsion Systems) at Astrobase Space Technologies. Draft and maintain P&IDs and fluid schematics for stage feed, fill/drain, pressurisation, pneumatic, purge and vent systems, working from engineering markups.
What you'll do
- Draft and maintain P&IDs and fluid schematics for stage feed, fill/drain, pressurisation, pneumatic, purge and vent systems, working from engineering markups
- Build and update 3D models of stage propulsion systems and sub-assemblies, including components, brackets and support
- Model and route stage propulsion tubes and pipes in 3D CAD, with supports, clamps and instrumentation ports, to the integration engineer’s layout
- Prepare detail, assembly, installation and interface drawings with GD&T, weld symbols, torque notes and cleanliness callouts
- Draft drawings for assembly tooling, handling fixtures, GSE and stage-to-test-stand adapters
