Integration Engineer (Stage Propulsion Systems) at Astrobase Space Technologies. Plan and execute lower/upper-stage integration: build sequences, schedules, readiness reviews and shop-floor coordination.
What you'll do
- Plan and execute lower/upper-stage integration: build sequences, schedules, readiness reviews and shop-floor coordination
- Work with design, manufacturing and quality teams to make feed, pressurisation, purge, vent/relief, fill/drain and pneumatic systems easy to assemble, inspect
- Design fluid interfaces, line supports, component mountings, handling fixtures and integration tooling; define engine-to-stage fluid interfaces with the Propulsion team
- Create and maintain top-level CAD of the complete lower/upper stages, with accurate BoMs and test-stand, facility and GSE/umbilical interfaces
- Write assembly, inspection and test procedures: torque sequences, cleanliness and FOD controls, leak checks, proof tests, valve functional checks and health checks
