What you'll do
- Turn the program schedule into a build plan for each engine serial: dates for parts, sub-assemblies, final assembly, acceptance test and shipment
- Run MRP from the manufacturing BOM; raise purchase requisitions with the right lead-time offsets and flag long-lead items early
- Plan capacity for the additive line, assembly cells, clean room, inspection and test-stand slots; level the load and show where it does not fit
- Check that every job is clear to build before release: parts, drawings, travellers, tooling and inspection plans
- Release kits to the floor with stores, matched to the traveller and traceable to lot and serial number
