What you'll do
- Audit and approve PCB fabricators (IPC-6012 Class 3), EMS and harness suppliers. Do first-article and source inspection and follow SCARs through to closure
- Help set up our in-house PCB assembly and harness line, including workmanship standards, inspection stages, ESD areas (ANSI/ESD S20.20)
- Qualify PCB assemblies, harnesses, conformal coating and avionics boxes as per IPC-A-610 Class 3, J-STD-001 (space addendum) and IPC/WHMA-A-620
- Support EEE parts selection and screening, guard against counterfeit parts (AS6081 / AS5553), and keep lot and date-code traceability for every board
- Review acceptance and qualification test procedures and witness environmental (MIL-STD-810) and EMI/EMC (MIL-STD-461) tests
