About the role
The Tool Maker is responsible for manufacturing/handling/maintenance of welding Fixtures, forming dies, pipe bending dies, structure handling beams and stands etc. Manufacturing precision components used in production processes.
What you'll do
- Manufacture and assemble tools, dies, molds, jigs, and fixtures according to engineering drawings and specifications
- Operate conventional CNC machines such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and EDM equipment
- Repair, troubleshoot and maintain production tooling to minimize downtime
- Read, interpret Engineering drawings and CAD models
- Perform precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other inspection tools
