About the role
The Liaisoning Officer (EHS) will be responsible for ensuring that all EHS-related activities in greenfield and brownfield projects meet regulatory and corporate standards. This role involves liaising with government authorities, local agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and health regulations during the planning, construction, and operational phases of the project.
What you'll do
- Act as the main point of contact between the company and local, state, and national regulatory authorities (e.g., environmental bodies, safety regulators)
- Ensure timely submission of all mandatory environmental clearances, permits, and approvals required for project execution
- Coordinate with environmental consultants and legal teams for necessary certifications and compliance
- Assist in environmental impact assessments (EIAs) and risk assessments for both greenfield and brownfield projects
- Oversee and ensure the application of safety and environmental guidelines during the project planning phase
