About the role
We are looking for a Senior Lead Engineer - I / Lead Engineer to join our Customer Engineering team and lead the design and development of Steering Wheel and Airbag systems for passenger vehicles, SUVs, and MUVs. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, customers, suppliers, and global engineering teams to deliver innovative and reliable occupant safety solutions.
What you'll do
- Lead the design and development of Steering Wheel and Airbag mechanisms for automotive applications
- Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Design Verification Plans (DVP)
- Support prototype builds and vehicle trials
- Coordinate product testing activities with test laboratories and evaluate test results
