About the role
This position is responsible to design and automate Web and POS applications. The engineer will be responsible for establishing and maintaining QA best practices, writing test scenarios, and executing tests, both manually and with automated tools, and experience in leading a team. The Quality Engineer will work with engineers, architects, business analysts, product owners, and other team members.
What you'll do
- Develop test plans, strategies, test case creation, and test case execution
- Write, review, and maintain test automation scripts
- Perform business applications functional system, integration (end-to-end) tests for new and existing applications
- Participate in the review and approval process of project deliverables
- Advise project teams on appropriate approaches to testing delivered products, including test tool sets
