About the role
About the role The Product Development Specialist manages and executes the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from local item development and sample approval to pricing and continuous improvement. This role ensures timely, cost-effective development methods and high accuracy across internal systems and client requirements.
What you'll do
- Handle top revenue-generated RBs (accounts) and strategic projects, ensuring seamless item development for local supply
- Identify feasible, cost-effective product development methods and provide accurate estimates leveraging production capabilities
- Initiate product re-engineering to stay ahead of the competition and drive development speed via the ELS approach
- Oversee counter sample approvals, develop new products and customers, and resolve all customer queries regarding product development
- Assist in product pricing, maintain constant business focus, and promptly address internal inquiries per best practice guidelines
